Gloucester County invites you to celebrate the 40th Annual Daffodil Festival, a beloved tradition honoring the county’s rich daffodil heritage through this year’s theme “Anchored in Tradition”. The festival will take place on March 28, 9AM-5PM, and 29, 12PM-5PM, 2026, along historic Main Street in Gloucester, Virginia. This annual celebration features more than 250 vendors offering local art, crafts, and specialty goods, along with an array of culinary delights and family-friendly fun for all ages.
Festivalgoers can enjoy exciting attractions including a petting zoo, educational talks, and living history demonstrations that bring Gloucester’s story to life. Don’t miss the Amazing Mutt Show, where local dogs showcase their talents, or the always-popular Daffodil Parade, which steps off on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Visitors are also encouraged to stop by the Daffodil Show at Newington Baptist Church to admire the beautiful blooms and arrangements that make this event so special. On Sunday morning, lace up your sneakers for the Daffodil 5K race beginning at 9 a.m.
Live music will fill the air all weekend long, with performances by Bobby Blackhat on Saturday and The Deloreans on Sunday. Whether you’re shopping, dining, exploring, or dancing to the music, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this milestone event.
